Straight Egyptian *Low Nazeer/Asil mare

Ankara Z is a very big and beautiful mare with a large jibbah, big nostrils, and large eye. She stands at 15.2 hh. She is a curvy mare with well-sprung ribs, which she has passed onto her daughter Umaizah DHA.

Annie’s sire *Zaydoon was imported from the EAO in 1981 and successfully competed in Arabian Stallion Breeding and English Pleasure classes. Her sire side has some old Egyptian breeding up close, a rare feature amongst Straight Egyptian Arabians today.

Her dam side features mostly German bred Egyptian Arabians, known for their excellent structure. Her maternal grandsire Messaoud was known for siring excellent sons and daughters, and was the inspiration for the Imperial Egyptian Stud in Maryland.
