Her sire side has multiple prolific Straight Egyptian stallions including Thee Desperado, Tammen who was owned and loved by Patrick Swayze, and TheEgyptianPrince. Marquess’s sire is also a successful show horse himself, having been shown in Arabian Stallion Breeding classes, winning many, as well as English Hunter Pleasure classes. Marquess’s dam side is a unique blend of Old and New Egyptian lines, with some rare Syrian and Saudi Arabian bloodlines, as well as her Sahanad bloodlines. Her maternal grandsire AK Desert Bay (sired by Shaikh Al Badi) was shown in Western Pleasure and Arabian Stallion Breeding classes. Shaikh Al Badi is a prolific Egyptian sire, born of Straight Rgyptian legends Moravia and Bint Maisa El Saghira.
